Kobe Bryant and his mother have finally settled the lawsuit over his basketball memorabilia.
Kobe's mom, Pamela Bryant, was trying to auction off jerseys, rings, trophies and other items belonging to her son. She'd claimed that he gave these things to her, but Kobe says she was just pissed because he wouldn't buy her an expensive house in Vegas.
Kobe's parents agreed to submit a letter of apology to their son, and in return he'll allow Pamela to sell about 10 percent of the items. The statement reads, "We regret our actions and statements related to the Kobe Bryant auction memorabilia. We apologize for any misunderstanding and unintended pain we have caused our son and appreciate the financial support he has provided over the years."
MY 2 CENTS:
- With all the millions he makes, he can't buy his parents a house?
- He didn't ask to be born. He owes his parents nothing.
- You know when your mom has to issue a public apology, things will be a little chilly at Thanksgiving dinner.
