Michelle Obama is dropping an album on September 20th -- but she won't be singing or rapping. Her Partnership for a Healthier America and Hip-Hop Public Health are teaming up to release the hip-hop-inspired album Songs for a Healthier America.

The first lady has rounded up quite an impressive roster for the album. Artists includeJordin SparksAshanti, Doug E. FreshDMC and others. It's all part of Michelle's Let's Move campaign aiming to promote healthy and fit kids, and to fight obesity.

According to White House assistant chef Sam Kass, who's also the executive director of the Let’s Move campaign, the album has a hip-hop feel because "so many kids love hip-hop. It’s such a core part of our culture... Particularly in the African-American community and the Latino community, which is being disproportionately affected by those health issues.”
