Serena Williams won her fifth U.S. Open crown Sunday evening in New York, beating Victoria Azarenka.

Early on in the match, William looked beatable and could be seen complaining about the wind on several occasions, but she turned it around in the third set to take her 17th major title.

That puts her just one behind such legends as Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova on the all-time list for female players.
