DMX'S REP SAYS ZIMMERMAN FIGHT IS NOT CONFIRMED



 

A rep for DMX has released a statement, saying that it has not been confirmed that he will fight George Zimmerman in a celebrity boxing match. According to Allhiphop, X's rep Dominick Nati said in a statement, "The boxing match between George Zimmerman and DMX is not officially confirmed. DMX has promised to 'beat his ass', but no contract or paperwork has been signed or agreed to yet. DMX will release an official statement if and when an agreement is made."

Meanwhile, Deadline has reported that more than likely the fight will be rigged, sinceDamon Feldman, the celebrity boxing promoter who is organizing the fight, has allegedly staged many celebrity boxing matches in the past. 

THE GAME REACTS

Game -- who took an early interest in fighting Zimmerman, took to Twitter to react to the fight. He wrote to a fan who asked about it, "nah he scared !!! Said DMX more his size." He added,"scary a** chump!

AL SHARPTON RESPONDS TO THE FIGHT

Al Sharpton has spoken out about he fight. According to Eurweb, Sharpton said about the fight, "We must be very careful not to glorify or in any way sidestep the implications of making someone whose only claim to fame was killing an unarmed young man named Trayvon Martin into a cultural celebrity or hero. It is perfectly legal for him to exploit his fame but we should never forget what he is famous for and not behave like he is a celebrity based on gifts or talent or contributions to society."

Meanwhile, Zimmerman has claimed that he will donate his cut to an animal rescue charity, but he won’t' name them, because he doesn’t want to bring unwarranted attention to them.
