Chilli of TLC turns 43 years old today

  • Rozonda Ocelean Thomas, better known as Chilli, is an American R&B singer, dancer, and actress who rose to fame as one-third of the R&B/hip-hop girl group TLC.
  • TLC was introduced and signed to LaFace Records via a production deal set up through R&B singer Peri "Pebbles" Reid, the ex-wife of Antonio "L.A." Reid in 1991.
  • TLC released a third album, Fanmail, in 1999. "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty" helped them earn a pair of Grammys.
  • TLC is one of the most successful girl groups in history, having sold more than 50 million records worldwide.
  • Chilli has won four Grammy Awards for her work with TLC.
