A$AP Rocky isn't getting charged with slapping a female fan at a concert in Philadelphia -- but it's not because authorities don't think he did it.
TMZ reports that because police didn't witness the assault, alleged victim Lisa Wade had to file a private criminal complaint, which required her to give the DA the alleged perpetrator's address. Wade gave the DA the address for A$AP's record label, but when the paperwork was sent to the office, A$AP wasn't there to sign for it.
So the DA's office is claiming that it can't move forward with the case until it gets a new address where the rapper can be served.
MY 2 CENTS:
- This doesn't seem right. Why is it the victim's responsibility to find A$AP's address?
- No wonder the crime rate is so high in Philly.
- It happened at a concert. Someone must have video on their phone.
