Lil Bosie, who was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2011 after pleading guilty for drug charges, may be coming home soon.

Rolling Stone contributor Jeff Weiss revealed on Twitter, "No official release date yet for Boosie's return. But his attorneys say no more than four to five months from today."

Weiss also tweeted, "Just got word that judges have agreed to give back Boosie's hard drives and computers. It means a whole lot of new Boosie music coming soon."

In a recent Power 105 Breakfast Club interview, Rick Ross expressed hope of teaming with the Louisiana rapper upon his release from the pen. When asked if he has plans to sign Boosie to MMG Ross replied, “I’m a put a bag on the table for that boy… and we do what it do. You never know.”

Boosie appears on “Lay It Down” on MMG’s Self Made 3 dropping tomorrow (Tuesday).

  • That would be a bad look if Boosie signs an ex-corrections officer.
  • That would be a good look for MMG, but either way someone is going to snatch him up.
