The commercial for Beats Pill speakers generated nearly a hundred complaints from viewers, leading the Advertising Standards Authority to step in and say it can only be shown after 7:30 p.m. The ASA acknowledged that some viewers could find elements of the ad distasteful, especially the shots of women on all fours, but didn't find it nasty enough to ban outright.
