Someone near the Northern California city of Milpitas is a heck of a lot richer.

Wednesday night's winner of the $400 million jackpot purchased a ticket at a Chevron station there. The winning ticket matched the numbers 17, 49, 54, 35, 1 and the Powerball number 34.

It's also good news for Dixon Landing Chevron, which will received $1 million for selling the winning ticket, according to California lottery officials.

This is the second time someone has won big in recent months in the Northern California area. In December, someone bought a winning ticket for a $324 million Mega Millions jackpot at a gift shop in San Jose.
